There are times when we deviate from the orbit of life regardless of Gods intentions.
What is essential then is trajectory correction.
Today, lets look at how Peter modified the trajectory of life.
Peter was a disciple on the right track of life.
However, he couldnt understand the trajectory Jesus intended and didnt like it.
Eventually, Peter broke away from the orbit of faith.
Peter denied Jesus three times.
Peter ran away with guilt.
He was catching the fish weakly with a loss of motivation and desperation.
Jesus came back to the lake where he first met Peter.
He asks, 'Simon, son of John, do you truly love me more than these?'
Peter said, Yes Lord, he said, 'You know that I love you.'
Peter realized his failure and answered.
My life is just like Peters.
My father pioneered a church.
I became the pastor in charge when I was only 35.
Three years later, my father passed away.
All the church members worried.
A big pressure on me left me panic disorder.
There was a time when I stood at the end of the breakwater and wished that the waves had swept me away.
But then I could see the light of the lighthouse in the distance.
Holy Spirit said to me You are not the light. Im the light.
And Holy Spirit said 'Im not coming to you son, youre coming to me.'
After that incident, my wife brought me QTin and I read it.
Testimonies sounded like my story and made me think about my sins.
When I confessed my sins, I experienced healing with the blood of Jesus.
We should do QT everday.
There is no other way.
For the last 2 years, all our church members are doing QT
Ill have QT next to me even when I die.
I believe that as long as we hold on to the words of the Lord, well survive.
