[You may Listen to the Words]
2 King 6:32~7:2
The first sermon of this year was 'The Land of the Spirit,' and the last Sunday sermon was 'Listen to the Word.' This years motto was 'Relax now,' and there were many things that many troops surrounded our homes, churches, countries, and the world in layers and made our heart aching. It appeared in us as a number of military ghosts, including bragging, injustice, avoiding responsibility, distrust, anger, and hatred, and the whole truth to pursue military ghosts in me is to listen to Gods words every day. Lets listen carefully to todays word of God about what we should do to hear the words in the same way that we still have today. Today, I thought about the life that elders, General Jehoram, and ministers showed.
First, you have to sit together in the house of the Word (think about the elders).
Although General Jehoram is surrounded by Aram and is angry with Elisha for suffering a terrible disaster, Elisha sits at home with the elders and elders of Samaria, Israel. They sit together to listen to the words. If you repent when a physical crisis comes, it is not a crisis. Rather, a spiritual crisis that refuses to repent is a crisis with no answer. Therefore, when an unanswered problem arises, we must enter the house where the word of God resides and sit with the people of faith. However, if I try to be the center and consider myself the protagonist, I will fall into a swamp of deeper problems and hardships. Until now, the elders had always been on the side of Ahab, but they had never sat with the prophet. However, now that there are people who are ruined and have nothing to eat, and even their children are eaten, they have finally come to the people of God. Dont be angry and resentful that an unanswered problem has arisen, and if it has led me to live in the house of the Word with both my hands up, please be thankful that a brief and difficult hardship has given me eternal life.
Second, you have to wait until the end for salvation (think about Jehovah).
When the person sent by King Jehoram comes home, Elisha tells the elders not to open the door, as He who comes to kill him according to the kings order without knowing anything can be killed by fire horses and fire chariots. Elisha, who has discerned who he really needs to deal with, wants to meet the king in person. However, Jehoram concludes that God is responsible for this disaster until the end and that there is no longer any need to wait for God. Here, 'waiting' is not just waiting relentlessly, but trusting and hoping that salvation will come, as David and the Goras descendants waited for God in shame and despair. However, Jehoram gives up his desire for God. Because I hate waiting in itself. There would have been no waiting because Ahab and Isebel, who served gold as Lord, raised them doing everything. So even if a disaster surrounded by Samaria now occurs, they do not think about the miracles God gave them and say, 'Im doomed.' It shows the height of disbelief without patience. The conclusion of spiritual truth is patience. Patience is not to endure forcefully, but to know that the purpose of life is holy, and to see and appreciate that you are becoming holy through the catastrophe brought about by the army around me. Because there is nothing to rely on and wish for on this land, I am waiting more for the country where the Lord is. After passing the narrow path, you will surely find a large and colorful door to heaven. Because the word is a map of salvation, it tells you how to wait, and because the word is the glasses of salvation, you can see yourself properly with the glasses of Jesus Prism. I hope you will listen to God every day next year as you look at Gods salvation to the end.
Third, I have to rely on Gods hand, not my hand (think about the minister).
Elisha never gives up on King Jehoram, who neither loves nor wishes nor believes in God. He predicts, 'Listen to the word of the Lord.' 'The prices that have risen due to the siege of Aram will drop sharply tomorrow,' and stresses that what he is saying is the word of God. However, the minister who accompanies King Jehoram concludes that there is no way that God casts a spear in the sky. The minister believes that the king also has enough power in his hands because he relies on his hands, and there is no need to find or love God. Elisha makes a tragic prophecy, 'As you say, you will see with your own eyes the price of flour plummeting, but you cannot eat it,' which means, 'You will die tomorrow.' General Na-man was desperate because he had a physical leprosy, but the minister is rather a spiritual leper and is moving vigorously toward death. We can live only by listening to the word of God. To hear the word, we must rely on Gods hand, not my hand. I believe that the most blessed life is a life with a desperate desire to find Gods hand because there is nothing in this land to be satisfied with.
Its a community confession. A brother asked the community to pray to his wife, and finally my wife visited church for the first time to see her presentation on Christmas. However, my wife was enraged to see her daughter being ostracized and pushed by other girls in front of the kindergarten shoe cabinet, and after the service, she went to the kindergarten to find her daughter and shouted and argued with the teacher who was restraining her in front. The wifes anger reached its peak and began to argue with her not to take her child to church again, but I wondered if I should bite my mouth for salvation. When I explained to my wife that it was Christmas Day and that it would have been difficult to find shoes because hundreds of people, including children and teachers, went up and down in a small space, I felt relieved. He confessed that it seemed to have let him see that it was entirely in Gods hands, not his power to save her. Under any circumstance, the person who hears this doesnt blame anyone else and says, 'Youre right. Im sorry.' This is the blessing of the person being heard.
Sisters and brothers, sit together in the house of the word to be heard. And you have to wait until the end, persevere, and rely on the hand of the Lord for salvation. In the name of the Lord, I bless you with the blessings of sitting together in the house of the Word in the same way as in 2024.
