Acts 21:27-36
1. We should wait, And the God will reveal us
When the seven days were nearly over (21:27) means that you have to wait for Gods time.
7 is the complete number.
But when the seven days were nearly over, uninvited guests enter the temple.
They were Jews from Ephesos, the capital of Asia, to keep the Pentecost.
These people were also in the temple to commemorate Shabbat.
But when they saw Paul, they were mad
To their eyes, Paul is regarded as an enemy who broke their community.
They shouted as if they saw a crime scene.
They thought that Paul took Trophimus, who is not Jewish, to the temple.
This was a fake news but Jews, those who fell into a bias, were convinced wrongly.
God revealed the reality of Paul, and revealed the reality of Jews.
2. You can not see the reality if you are obsessed with victim mentality
Jews were mad at Paul in anger.
They took Paul to the outside of the temple.
They cherised the temple but not humans life.
Jews thought that they are victims and strangers are assailant.
Jews could not tolerate Paul because he preached that the God wil save assailant as well.
Paul recalled that Stephan were killed by stones outside of the temple.
Paul could not hate the Jews and said a word either.
But, these angry Jews were immediately kept quite by a strong chiliarch.
3. We interpret our bindings with the words we heard before
Paul was literally chained tightly on both sides by the soldiers (21:33).
This is a chain used to deal with violent and rough people.
This is a blessing.
So, eventually, they went to Rome.
On his way to Jerusalem, the Holy Spirit told Paul in advance.
So Paul wasnt surprised.
Paul didnt answer a word (21:33-34).
He didnt even resist.
But the chiliarch asked Paul what kind of crime he committed.
Paul knew that the safest way to go to Rome was to kept and bound as a sinner.
This is the shortcut to heaven.
People, who think they are innocent, always hate others and shout (21:35-36).
It is the reality of the Holy Spirit to prevent us from falling and to make us pass thurough.
It is a confession of a butler who has turned the reality of family fights into the reality of the Holy Spirit.
It was his second daughters birthday, and the party ended in a good mood after eating, blowing candles, and watching the performance prepared by the youngest for a long time. But the eldest child sang because he said he would sing, and the mother and daughter were so moved that they took pictures with their cell phones and shouted encore, but suddenly the youngest complained that nobody took pictures when she sang.
So the eldest child was angry and shouted, and the youngest attacked him.
My second daughter cried and shouted that she will disappear.
I was also mad at the scene and became violent.
And that moment, my wife began to pray that we all did wrong.
Then eveybody became silent.
I didnt accept that my eldest couldnt get along with in school or home either.
I am a sinner.
And now I confess in front of my kidws that I am a sinner and will do my best.
They do thumbs down instead of thumbs up
But I think this is the proof of being the reality of the Holy Spirit.
