Ezekiel 32:1~12
God talks about the fall of Egypt as many as four chapters about the message of judgement and recovery. This means that in order for our lives to recover, the Egypt that we are longing for and relying on in our hearts must be collapsed before. Today, lets take a look at what we will sing and tell through the words,
'Egypt will be collapsed.'
First, God tells you to sing the lamentations he mentioned before.
Even during his hard life as a war prisoner, Ezekiel would have always come to the place to listen to Gods Words because he didnt know when the Lords words would come. Whetherwe have an incident or not, doing QT meditation everyday is the secret way to live as an prophet Ezekiel even during our prisoner life. The Words that came to Ezekiel is to take up a lament concerning Pharaoh, king of Egypt and say to him. This is because anyone who is not connected to God is like a dead person in Gods view, even though he is doing well and is actively walking around saying that he is God. So its hard to sing a song to Pharaoh unless his worldly values have been changed . In the Bible, the king Pharaoh is always given the modifier wicked. Despite the many signs God shows, he did not hear them due to his wickedness.
You have to tell on the person like pharaoh who doesnt listen to like this way. Because ifyou dont say this to him, youll be swallowed by the values of Egypt. Through this lament, you have to realize, 'Egypt is the place to perish, and its a good thing I didnt go there and even if your current prisoner life is hard, the Lord loved me and made me live as a prisoner right now.' The lament that spread to South Juda from Kebar River of Babylon continues to resonate with the people of South Juda who fled to Egypt and pharaoh. As such, because we always listen to the Gods Words and can see the sins of ourselves, we have to constantly sing a sad song with our precious sharing for the church and also for those who left the church and the one and his family who have to come back to life.
Second, you have to be blamed for the difference between your thoughts and your reality.
Egypt and Pharaoh regarded himself as 'a lion who rules the country fairly and well.' But the Lord says that he will be thrown onto the land because he is actually just an crocodile that causes muddy water. The illusion interferes with objectification of yourself and further prevents you from seeing it from Gods perspective. Thats why doing QT meditation is important. This is because the more you are doing QT meditation, the more objective you have, the more wisely you can recognize sin and addiction in your lives. Self-centered Pharaoh doesnt even think many people suffer from the muddy water he cause. Like crocodiles, we sometimes cause muddy water of fear and discrimination to our children and contaminate with muddy water in terms of worldly values. After God destroyed Egypt which had caused muddy water, it is said that the Lord clears the dirty water. So, we have no choice but to constantly sing a sad song so that the values of Words, the clear water of Words, flows through in the midst of life.
The King Pharaoh boasted of his achievements, but lives without knowing that all of them were possible because of the environment God allowed. Hebrew, translated into 'crocodile,' is a word used to mean 'being against God.' In other words, not knowing or ignoring the fact that the environment that raises me now, or that lowers me comes from God means that it can be a counterpart against God. Now Pharaoh is destined to be judged by God. Todays text 6-8 reminds me of the disaster of Exodus, and it is also a message of judgment on Exodus, but its just a lament of God which gives Israels people who even though they are struggling with the life of Babylon, but cant stop Egypt in them to remember the wilderness of Exodus that the Lord fed and saved. The news of Egypts defeat brought fear to the allies they signed for their own benefit, and they were ruined together. When I feel comfortable, I sometimes dont know whether I rely on God or my husband to make money for me. However, if God shake your husband and your child through Babylon, you realize who you relied on. Even though they heard that Egypt was ruined like this, Israel cannot stop Egypt in them.
The end of Israel and Egypt who does not realize his reality is
Third, so they are arrogant and so cut by a sword.
The reason why we should not rely on the worlds forces is that the worlds forces are ruined by another worlds forces. God uses Babylon as a tool to destroy Egypt because we rely on it.
If I rely on someone rich or capable without relying on Jesus, he may fail because of me. In any environment, as long as we do open a QT book, it is humility, but we have the arrogance of not turning back to God just because there is a way to avoid it. Because of that arrogance, we come to face an incident in which Egypt is cut by the sword of Gods judgment. The original Hebrewword 'Geon' in 'Arrogance' (Section 12) is translated into 'Dignity' when the subject becomes God, but it is used as 'Arrogance' when a person becomes the subject. In other words, if you attach the subject 'I' to money, children, and all the present environments, everything becomes arrogant, but if you attach 'God' instead of 'I' to the subject of all of them, 'Gods dignity' will be revealed. There are so many cutting by sword incidents in children and their families of the church youth department I serve now. Last week, due to a fierce couple fight with the police coming, the adolescent daughter left the house after leaving a letter saying she would go to a shelter because she could not gain psychological stability in a family with a scary father and helpless mother. Her mother butler said, 'I didnt know that I had to live holy with Gods complete seal, so I wanted to be loved and valued only by my husband for her wounds and compassion, but I was ignored and ridiculed by him and so did she to him. The Lord forgives my arrogance, and in front of these events, I am so helpless. 'Please feel sorry for me and visit my daughter in the shelter to restore her spirit and help her return home,' she posted the title of prayer. I ask you to pray with earnest heart together.
Im going to wrap up what Ive been telling so far.
God tells you to say to him about Pharaoh among the messages of the fall of Egypt. The lament God has said is to blame him for not realizing his reality properly.However, Egypt and Israel, who eventually did not listen to the lament, are going to be cut by a sword because of their arrogance. When we live by singing various laments in our lives, we acknowledge that this case of judgment is an event of love given by God, and we trust that there is only one God who is with us forever, and I hope that you all will be the saints who can go through prisoners lives well.
