Matthew 9:27-34.
Jesus heals two blind men who believe he's able to do it. They then disobey Jesus by telling people what he did. He also heals a demon possessed mute. The Pharisees says he does it by the power of the devil.
Like the blind men who were healed, I speak when I should be silent because I don't see clearly what I need to do.
My wife's brother causes stress for my wife because of his thoughtless actions. Yesterday he broke his phone and came rushing home in a panic because he had mokjang and he thought he was late.
He was rushing around like a crazy man and got angry at my wife for stopping him to asking him what the matter was.
She had to yell at him because that's often the only way to get him to pay attention.
He was rushing to mokjang but he didn't even know where it was!
My wife had to order him to use the home phone to call his bu-mokja to find out where bu-mokja was.
Afterwards, she was stressed and talking to herself.
Instead of going to her to hold her and calm her and encourage her, I stupidly said, "What did your brother do now?"
I had no love in my heart or my words.
I should have shut up but I spoke inappropriately.
Lord, guard my tongue. Let your praise be on my lips, not my judgement and condemnation.
