[생명의 면류관 얻는 길(야고보서 1:12-18)]
1) 생명의 면류관(Crown of Life)
-시험(試驗)을 참는 자는 복이 있도다 이것에 옳다 인정하심을 받은 후에 주께서 자기를 사랑하는 자들에게 약속하신 생명의 면류관을 얻을 것임이니라
(God blesses the people who patiently endure testing. Afterward they will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.)
2) 죽음에 이르는 길 (Way to Death)
-사람이 시험을 받을/악을 행하고자 할 때에 내가 하나님께 시험/유혹을 받는다 하지 말찌니 하나님은 악에게 시험을 받지도/악을 행하시는 유혹을 받지 아니하시고 친히 아무도 시험/유혹하지 아니하시느니라
(And remember, no one who wants to do wrong should ever say, “God is tempting me.” God is never tempted to do wrong, and he never tempts anyone else either.)
-오직 각 사람이 시험/유혹을 받는 것은 자기 (사악한) 욕심에 끌려 미혹(迷惑)됨이니 (사악한) 욕심이 잉태한즉 죄(사악한 행위)를 낳고 죄(사악한 행위)가 장성한즉 사망을 낳느리라 내 사랑하는 형제들아 속지 말라 (Temptation comes from the lure of our own evil desires. These evil desires lead to evil actions, and evil actions lead to death. So don’t be misled.)
3) 하늘로부터 오는 것(What comes from God above)
-각양 좋은 은사와 온전한 선물이 다 위로부터 (하늘) 빛들의 아버지께로부터 내려오나니 그는 (하늘 빛들과는 달리) 변함도 없으시고 회전하는/자리를 이동하며 변하기 쉬운 그림자(자취)도 없으시니라
(Whatever is good and perfect comes to us from God above, who created all heaven’s lights. Unlike them, he never changes or casts shifting shadows.)
-그가 그(분의 창)조물 중에 우리로 한 첫 열매가/그분께서 선택하신 창조소유물이 되게 하시려고 자기의 뜻 쫓아 진리의 말씀으로 우리를 낳으셨느니라 (In his goodness he chose to make us his own children by giving us his true word. And we, out of all creation, became his choice possession.)
