제목: 세상의 주인공은 하나님의 백성인 나
영왕기상,하는 왕들의 이야기, 즉, 나의 이야기이다.
히스기야는 하나님께 충성하고 의지하였고, 앗시리아에게 등을 돌렸다.
왕이 된지 4년째에, 북이스라엘이 앗시리아에 의해서 멸망하였다.
왜냐하면 북이스라엘이 하나님께 순종하지 않았기 때문이다.
1. 앗시리아는 두려워 할 대상이 아닙니다.
남유다는 앗시리아의 침략을 받았다.
그러자, 히스기야는 자신이 하나님을 섬긴 것이 잘못되었다고 하였다.
하나님이 최강이시다.
하지만, 우리는, 우리보다 더 잘난 사람들에게 굽신거린다.
나를 조롱하는 앗시리아를 우리는 불쌍히 여겨야 한다.
히스기야는, 겁을 먹어서, 금을 앗시리아 왕에게 바쳤다.

1. Atsiria is not a subject that we should be afraid of.
South Yuda received attack from Atsiria.
Then, Hisgia thought that his decision of praying God was wrong.
God is the mightiest.
But, we bow under people who seem to be better than us.
We have to think of Atsiria as a poor group of people.
Hisgia was afraid, so he gave gold to Atsiria's king.
2. 랍사개의 유혹에 속지 말아야 해요.
앗시리아의 군대는 남유다를 업신거리고 우습게 여겼다.
왜냐하면 아직 남유다의 위력을 몰랐었기 때문이다.
랍사개는 히스기야의 말을 믿지 말라고 하였었고, 백성들이 산당예배를 얼마나 좋아하는지 알아서 이간질 시켰다.
랍사개의 말들을 들으면 우리는 흔들리게 된다.
우리속의 랍사개의 유혹은 우리가 넘어지게 한다.
내가 좋아하는 것은 끊기 어렵다.
랍사개는 끊임없이 우리를 유혹하고 흔들어 놓는다.
매일 하기 싫은 일들은 내 옆에 히스기야가 있어서 싫어하는 것이다.
이스라엘 백성들은 자신의 잘못을 인정하고, 하나님께 회개기도를 드리면서 잠잠히 기다렸다.
즉, 랍사개의 유혹에 흔들리지 않았던 것이다.

2. Don't be tricked by Labsage.
Atsiria's army thought of south Yuda as very weak people.
They were able to do this because they yet didn't know of Yuda's real power.
Labsage told people not to believe Hisgia's words and he knew how much people loved prayers to what God made so he tried to play both sides in the middle.
When we hear Labsage's words, we tend to tremble.
Labsage in ourselves make us tip over.
It's hard to get rid of things that we love.
Labsage keeps shaking us.
Things that we have to do everyday but we hate are present because Hisgia is with us.
Israelites acknowledged their mistakes and by giving prayers to God, they waited for the time.
In another words, they weren't tricked by Labsage's words.
