Summary: This man was working for natives in foreign country. A long time ago, he decided to bring in pineapples. The natives all knew what a pineapple is. Some have eaten it, but there were no pineapple trees in town. This man employed a native to plant the pineapple trees. Ofcourse, this man gave him whatever he wanted and salt, for the fee. The man had to wait 3 years to get the first pineapple. However, all the pineapples were stolen even before it got ripe!! The man finally figured out that the man who stole it was the person who planted it. It seemed that the natives didn't understand that if he was given money for working, then what was planted was the employee's. ............ㅋㅋㅋ
내용요약: 한 선교사가 오지에서 봉사를 하면서, 파인애플을 심었다. 그러나 그 파인애플을 자기 자신이 먹지 못하면서, 원주민들에게 늘 "서로 사랑하세요, 서로 도우세요, 다른 사람의 입장에서 생각해보세요." 라고 말하던 것을 하나도 지키지 못했다. 오직 자신만의 이익을 추구했기 때문이다. 그러나 그가 하나님께서 심은 작물을 첫번째 해에 취하길 원하시지 않으신다는 것을 깨닫고, 회개하게 되었다.
느낀점: 나는 "난 그리스도인이야, 난 예수님을 믿는다구,," 라고 하지만, 나의 말과 행동이 일치하지 않는다는 것을 깨닫게 되었다. 앞으로는 그리스도인다운 모습을 보이도록 노력할 것이다.
